Review: I know the world now has a morbid fascination with the "seemingly" sudden influx of Celtic dancing, i.e., Lord of the Dance, and numerous other programs. That however is no excuse for this book, with its vague undeveloped characters, and dependence on the "heroine" Leeanne's "expertise" in Scotish Sword dancing! Leeanne Sullivan made me grind my teeth in disgust. There's nothing worst than a whiny, wimpy heroine. The dialogue was insipid and lackluster, it had no oomph! The ending was silly and unbelievable, (even for timetravel romances). Reading this novel was like pulling teeth.

Review: The history of Glencoe is authenticated by research. This book presents a heroine, Leeanne Sullivan, who is not a Rambo, and who tends to sit back and watch people. She was careful about her actions and reactions, a more believable human than many of the heroines featured in modern romances who insist on dominating their worlds. Rather than "handling" her world with physical force Leanne handles her world with intellect and thoughtfulness. This is a good read.
