Summary: Lots of humor and great character development.
Review: Lady On Top-- a finalist in the 1998 Coeur du Bois Chapter Readers' Choice Award for Short Comtemporary.

Ali Kozinski is a timid librarian who finally loses her cool when her library burns down. She take it out on her elderly neighbor's precious bone china, waking Keith, the neighbor's young, handsome and very naked great nephew--not to mention waking his lust, and something unexpected in Ali herself.

When she finds herself accidentally taking an assertiveness-training course (she's too afraid to say she's gone into the wrong room), she resolves to stop being timid, and to practice her new-found courage on Keith, the sexy neighbor.

Keith is the one who learns he needs courage when faced with a determined Ali, who simply has no intention--for the first time in her life--of taking "no" for an answer. Especially not from him.
