Summary: Superb!
Review: Grace Bennett has been Charley's foster mother since he was only a few months old. Grace is a psychologist and professor and has given Charley, now four years old, the kind of life he never could have had with his biological mother - a drug addicted con by the name of Kerry Pope.

So when the Court demands Grace to give Charley back to Kerry, Grace's world goes into turmoil. She knows she can't return Charley to Kerry. She loves him too much and Kerry is too much of a mess, even if the courts say she is rehabilitated. But what can Grace do? She goes to her father, a former cop, for help and they decide that she should flee her home in Colorado and go underground with Charley until they can prove Kerry an unfit mother and get legal custody of him back to Grace.

Luke Sarkov is a former San Francisco vice cop and he owes Grace's father a big favor. Now it's time to pay up. He agrees to take Grace and Charley underground and dig up as much dirt as he can on Kerry. What he isn't expecting is to fall in love with Grace.

This Harlequin Super Romance novel is full of suspense and will keep you interested until the end. I give it five stars.

Summary: Riveting!
Review: Psychologist Grace Bennett has foster-cared four-year-old Charley since he was 3 months old and given up by his drug-using birth mother. Now she wants Charley back and Grace must prove her unfit or lose the little boy she's come to love as strongly as if he were her own. When a judge rules against Grace, she has two choices: give Charley back or go underground.

Ex-San Francisco detective Luke Sarkov owes Grace's cop father a favor, and he promises to help fugitive Grace get legal custody of Charley. He thinks he's still in love with his soon-to-be-ex-wife, but that's before he and Grace go into hiding.

Luke has a lot of emotional baggage, but he is one sexy hero, and Grace is a perfect foil. As the suspense builds, so does their passion.

Once again, Ms. Erickson creates a hard-to-put-down story. Highly recommended.
