Rating: Summary: I enjoyed this read very much... Very addicting storyline. Review: Sarah Van Horne is a woman who tries to live down the scandal of her absent mother's passionate past. When she meets Lord Austin Sinclair, the dangerously handsome burglar, an awakening of her sensual emotions comes to the surface and she fears an occurrence of "Like mother -like daughter". Austin has secrets of his own to keep, but his attraction to Sarah makes it difficult to keep perspective of his mission to retrieve a very old family medallion. This book was well paced. It had lots of passion, humor, intrigue, and action. After reading this book for the first time, I really wanted to find the prequal "Quest of Dreams" to read. I haven't found it yet but was disappointed in reading another woman's review on it. I really like the premise of this story line: Avalon and the lost civilization of Atlantis. I just finished The last book in this series "Sorcerer's Lady" I loved it almost as much as "Deceptions". Patti Jo, Clearwater FL.
