Summary: Witches, werecats and vampires...oh my!
Review: J.C Wilder does it again with the next installment of her Shadow Dwellers series! Don't miss this one if you love erotic, paranormal romance.

Summary: She Was Determined to Get Her Revenge!
Review: Maeve was determined to destroy the master vampire Mikhail for killing her twin sister. She knew that she could never hope to beat him with her own strength, but she knew that there had to be a way. When Maeve discovered there was a powerful spell handed down to select witches that would hold a master vampire immobile long enough for them to be killed, she knew that she had to get her hands on that spell. Luckily for her, she ran into Quinn Montgomery at just the right time. Quinn was called home for his half-sister Bliss' funeral and found his mother, Mortianna, arguably the most powerful witch in the world, to be unchanged. Quinn knew that his mother didn't love him, but still hoped that they could reconcile. When Quinn protected Maeve and prevented his mother from killing her, he knew that the battle lines were drawn. With Mikhail playing pupper master in the wings, Quinn had to somehow persuade Maeve that no matter how evil Mikhail was, no spell was worth selling her soul for. But as Quinn found himself falling deeper in love with Maeve, he knew that he had to teach her how to forgive and move on with her life or she would never have room in her heart for him...

Redemption is #4 in the Shadow Dweller series and I think it is the weakest book of the six. The story is really short, at a little over 130 pages. I didn't like it because Maeve seems like a very unlovable person and I just couldn't see why a great guy like Quinn would want someone like her. Still, it does provide a vital link between book #3 & book #5 and it is interesting to see the story of Mikhail vs. the shadow dweller world continue to unfold. Keep an eye out to find these 6 books as a bargain set or buy them in ebook format, as they are quite a bit cheaper. Just be aware that Wilder leaves you hanging after the sixth book and Renault never does get his story told (as of yet)!

Summary: Awesome and potent!
Review: Quinn Montgomery was the son of the mightiest witch in the world, Mortianna. Since Quinn was not female, Mortianna sent him and his father away and only acknowledged her daughter, Bliss, as family. When Bliss died, Mortianna seemed to go insane. Now she had begun a quest to gain control of the Council and eliminate all the vampires, especially the one Bliss had loved (and Mortianna thought guilty) named Sinjin.

Maeve Leigh's twin sister had been killed by an elder vampire named Mikhail of Kiev. Maeve used her immortality to train for and accomplish revenge on Mikhail and his consort, Gabrielle Des Noir. Those two had tried to take control of the Council last year (book III) and were now on the run, and trying to cut a deal with Mortianna.

Quinn and Maeve, along with a few others, must join forces to stop Mortianna before her insanity destroys everything and everyone!

***** Book IV is here and it is as powerful and potent as the ones before! I never want to see this series end! It is full of the bright magic, as well as, the dark magic! Another winner by this highly skilled author! *****
