The full color photos, the environmental requirements, and, especially, the cold tolerance of each plant helped us choose plants which would not only survive, but prosper in our area. Review: The information in this book on many of the plants listed in it is incorrect. If you try to use the names given you will not be able to find them. Cross referece is a must if you intend to use this book in the buisness.

Summary: Worth it for the photos alone
Review: This book is outstanding for including a color photo of a full-grown specimin of each plant described. Entries include plant culture and details of its natural range. The listing of native plant sources at the back is pretty comprehensive, at least for Arizona. In addition to the plant listing, there are some short chapters on growing natives, and a chapter on wildflowers.
