Rating: Summary: Good encyclopedia of natural remedies Review: This book is a good reference for "what to do for ..." situations, such as "I have a migraine; what do I do?" The author is very diligent about providing solutions from different schools of thought, including naturopathy, homeopathy, reflexology, aromatherapy, etc. Also included are ways to alter one's diet to promote healing. My only criticism of the book is the relatively small amount of information regarding disease prevention.

Rating: Summary: Feeling Good Naturally Review: This is one of the best natural health books I have come across. It touches upon such areas as nutrition, exercise and even foods. It gives specifics on healing for infants thru adults. This book is easy to read and self-explanatory. It identifies how to aid ailments in three catagories; foods, herbs and nutrition. By doing this, it allows you to choose the best method for your body and mind. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to take a sensible approach to healing. Traditional medicines (antibiotics, steroids, etc.) aid one thing while destroying another. This book will help you learn to feed your body back to good health.Enjoy and here's to your health !
Rating: Summary: Wore out my last copy! Review: We wore out the edition we bought years ago and so went out and purchased the eleventh edition. This book is WELL worth the price. It's the only "medical" reference you will need in your home. Linda Page explains the causes of ills and provides you with natural remedies. She gives you options from a wide array of approaches including herbal, body work, and nutrition. You have several options so you can pick one that fits YOU best, as opposed to a one size fits all approach. There are also sections on detoxing and rejuvenation. As well as reference for overall usefulness of various herbs and natural products in everyday use. I knew a lot about natural remedies before, but have learned so much more from this book. You'll see that we have all we need to heal ourselves.
