Review: although i am sure Mr. MacCormick went through a painstaking research period to compile the stories for this book, it adds up to only sensationalize on the darker side of the oceans' greatest predator. If you are looking to learn about sharks, go elsewhere.

Review: I was disappointed, because the shark attack on a girl named Beverly Jo was omitted. The attack occured in the latter part of May, 1956 off of the coast of San Fransciso. The girl was bitten in one of her legs. I was hopeing to find the detail story.
