Summary: What in the world?
Review: This is by far the worst textbook I have ever used. Each chapter has tons of information, which is a good thing, dont get me wrong though. However, I found the book is written in a very unorganzied way: information are everywhere, the authors introduce a topic and lead you to nowhere. I just have a hard time to understand the main theme/focus of each chapter. This could be my own problem (i.e. being dumb and stupid,) but nothing like this ever happened to me before.
By the way, I think the older version is actually better written than the current edition. The 4th edition has a clear cut between sections and better flow from one to another.
Why do I have to pay almost $100 on a new book while I need to read the older version for better understanding?
