Review: Good text for those thinking about critical care nursing. Loses value over the long term as a reference book because it is almost too basic. Missing some important aspects of frequently occuring diagnoses seen in critical care ( illeus, small vs large bowel obstruction) etc.

The students love it! Content is clear and concise. Contributors include some of the best educators in critical care nursing today. I give it high marks.
