Review: Man, they say this book is for 9-12 year olds, the information in this book would turn a normal 9 year old into a puking ball (if they arn't already). I'm doing a report for my U.S. History class on medicines and practices of the American Revolution, and it turned my stomach (but tought me so much). Even if you don't like history I still think you need to get this book!

Review: Read this one on a full stomach. This stuff is real. This is how medicine was back during the days of our founding fathers. Truly you must admire the men who went to war to make our nation beginning, for this is what they got if they did not die in battle but were wounded.

More shocking is if you choose to read the book by this same author of the medicine of the Civil war period, you will see how little actually changed between the two wars.
