Summary: Good art work and illustration are good
Review: Could have used some more accurate three views, in the case of the X-35 any at all would have helped. The book, like all books from Mr. Sweetman, contained an excellent technical breakdown of the aircraft involved and the programs in place to complete them. Sweetman seems to have a nack for finding rare photos of the subjects in his books, another plus for those who use them as research materials. Overall I found it to be an excellent book full of details about a program that is still difficult to research through other sources.

Review: I like this book. It shows the pictures of the prototypes before they fly. The material is light reading but has more information then some book. The airplane is still in development the fighter companion is going hard on both Lockheed Martin and Boeing. But might just end up that both will win. Its still not the high quality work not quite as good as Skunk Works or Bill Sweetmen books or Bill Gunston. But any military aviation collection would be compete with this book.

Summary: Just incase of wrong info.
Review: Just incase this book does not tell you the Joint Strike Fighter is not going to replace the F-16 totally. It is only going to take away some ground attack responsibility, but the F-16 is still going to be used in the Air to Air role. This is just incase the book doesn't tell you that.
