Summary: Re: MS Reader Version is cumbersome
Review: I agree with Ben. Look at the PreTest Pediatrics PocketTest for Palm at www.BrainGlue.com . They have an interactive quiz program that presents explanations appropriate to your choices. The ebooks like MobiPocket and MSReader annoy the heck out of me, having to flip pages back and forth to view the answers. BrainGlue also has a scoring system that analyzes how you're doing in each chapter. It's way easier to use than the MobiPocket or MSReader ebooks.

Summary: Great for shelf board exam
Review: The content of this book is good, but I recommend against the MS Reader version of this edition. MS reader is very basic--you can only flip forward/backward by page or chapter--basically ok for reading novels. But this version of Pediatrics PSAAR is straight text w/out links to answers, checkboxes for the practice questions, etc. It is frustrating and time consuming to write your answer for a question on paper, flip to the beginning of the next chapter of answers, and flip page-by-page to your specific answer in the answer chapter. You have to do this all over again backwards and then forwards if you want to remind yourself what the question asked or what your answer said. There is also no way to view more than one location in the book at one time. MS Reader is horrible for a Q&A Review format. Waste of money. If they were to come out with a version containing links to answers, weblike forward and back buttons, checkboxes for your answers, a scoring system, and even a palm version, I would go bonkers over it.

Summary: Exellent review!
Review: This book is a perfect review for the USMLE-2. It include 5oo clinical-cases question with pictures and X-rays. The questions are shorter than on real exam but they help you to concentrate on high-yeld topics and learn important details which are often missed in other review books.
The book is well-organized. The questions are arranged in chapters. For example, the newborn infant, respiratory system, cardiovascular system... This allows you to learn the topic first and than sharpen your knowlege using this book. Plus, you can practice with questions before you finish reading the whole Pediatrics!
Perfect review!

Summary: Great for shelf board exam
Review: When I took the shelf board, my jaw dropped - it was as if the board came straight out of this book. Concise, but loaded with information. Lacks only info on immunizations and milestones, but these can be found anywhere.
