Review: Mr. Yost has done a very good job of covering very diverse subject matter. Engine designs are so different in the details that most engine books cover just one model or manufacturer. I found all of the information in the book very interesting and will use most of it between the John Deere I just completed and the Ford I need to do soon.

Between this book and your model-specific service manual, even an inexperienced mechanic should be able to complete a tractor engine.
