Summary: THE book for nursing care plans
Review: I received a copy of this book as a hand-me-down from another nursing student, and found that it was THE book to have when writing nursing care plans. It lists out medical diagnoses, then has the corresponding labs, recommended nursing diagnoses and interventions. I don't think I could've gotten through med-surg without it. I've looked through numerous other books on nursing care plans, but this book (and the corresponding version Mosby puts out for critical care nursing) is something I wouldn't think about going to nursing school without. Definitely user friendly and helpful.

Review: This is an excellent reference for nursing students doing their medical/surgical rotation. It contains thorough definitions, assessment data, nursing dx, and nursing interventions. It also contains precise criteria for objective goal setting/evaluation.
