Rating: Summary: Many errors Review: I began using this book when I started my pathology course along with Basic Pathology by Cotran. In the first chapter alone, there were 3 obvious errors on cell injury and adaptation. The author is a resident in Orthopedics. What gives him credentials to publish a book about pathology? Just be cautious when using books not written by experts in the subject matter. I threw the book away rather than sell or give it away.
Rating: Summary: great review of pathology Review: This is a great starting point for studying for Step1 of boards. The question/answer format is good for relating academic information to what you are likely to be asked. This also has a good clinical spin to it. A good way to relate what you've been learning the first 2 years to what's coming up. Probably a good adjunct to Robbins as well.
