Rating: Summary: Has Preusser Made a Critical Thinker Out of Me Review: Barbara Preussers' book "Critical Thinking in Medical-Surgical Settings" has helped me as a nursing student to look at each aspect of a patient, and to search deeply for any clues that may guide me in taking care of my future patients. There are many case studies in this book that cover a wide range of disorders in all systems of the body. The only thing I didn't like about the book was the fact that it does not have the answers to the questions in it. This was not a requiered text for me, I bought it for extra help, so I believe it would have been more benefical if I knew whether my answers were right or wrong. But I do recommend it to any nursing student who needs help in critical thinking, which is very important in the nursing field.
