Summary: A must-have for all structural geologists
Review: To understand structural geology is to understand strain and deformation, especially at a microscopic level. The book expands upon elementary concepts in kinematics and material science to effortlessly explain the formation of fabric during deformation. Has lots of figures and explanations. The authors could have gone deeper into strain theory, but this treatment is available in Passchier's (and others') academic papers.
