Review: Don't bother with the 7-volume set by the same author. It covers too many subjects in not enough detail. THIS is THE trauma set to own for the practicing OMF surgeon and residents. There is hardly a question not answered within these large texts. Surgical anatomy is reviewed, the pictures are excellent, it is well written, and it is current. It is a book that you should acquire as one of your first titles while an OMF resident. Useful for ENT and Plastics, as well, but really covers the discipline of OMFS trauma nicely.
