Summary: Actually sat in His Classes
Review: Disclaimer: I have not seen the finished book. However I have sat through some his classes where his lecture was taken straight from this work in progress. I also took another class that used a text he had written. I kept the notes and the book because they are clear, concise, filled with useful examples, and made Partial Differential Equations and Vector/Tensor Analysis understandable. This text is for application, and not filled with proofs. Therefore the problems and examples are applied to Physics and Engineering with only brief proofs. This book is on my wish list and is highly recommended for Engineers, Physicists, and Applied Mathematicians/ Teachers or anyone else that needs higher math to solve a problem and not prove something.
