Summary: A CUTTING EDGE NOVEL
Review: AREA 51 and its sequel AREA 51 THE REPLY provided me with many hours of enjoyment. It's hard to classify this stuff-- it makes X-Files look out of date and slow. I checked on the author and found that this Doherty name was a pen name. He just published a book under another pen name-- Joe Dalton-- called THE OMEGA MISSILE that I read this past weekend. If you enjoyed the Area 51 books, read The Omega Missile because its even scarier since it's about a weapon system that is real and exists right now in our country. A hell of a read.

Review: I loved this book, there is so much science fiction tied into fact it is almost believable (except maybe the whole mothership thing). I never wanted to put the book down!! Any of you who are the least bit interested in anything out of the ordinary have to read this book!! I hope you all enjoy the book as much as I did!!

Review: THE AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK AND (AREA 51 THE REPLY) SHOULD BE PRAISED. I'M NOT SURE IF I BELIEVE IN UFO'S AS OF YET BUT THIS BOOK REALLY HAS ONE THINKING ALMOST EVERY PAGE. I DID NOT WANT TO PUT THIS BOOK DOWN UNTIL I WAS DONE THE SAME WITH (THE REPLY) I WAS EVEN GOING TO WRITE TO THE AUTHOR WHICH I HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE AND I HAVE READ A LOT OF BOOKS. ALTHOUGH THE AUTHORS NAME IS A PSEUDONYM (ROBERT DOHERTY) I STILL WAS GOING TO WRITE TO THE PUBLISHER TO GET HIM THE MESSAGE OF HOW INTRIGUE AND FASCINATED I WAS BY THESE TWO BOOKS. I JUST INSTALLED WEBTV SO NOW I CHOSE THIS WAY INSTEAD. ALSO IM AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS NEXT BOOK AREA 51(THE MISSION) WHICH I'M SURE IT WILL BE JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER. ALSO THE AUTHORS (ROBERT DOHERTY) OTHER BOOK THE ROCK I HAVE ORDER AND JUST RECEIVED AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING. I DONT NESSARY LIKE SPACE BOOKS BUT IF THEY HAVE TO DO WITH PRESENT EARTH I'LL GIVE THEM A TRY. I ONLY WISH I NEW THE AUTHORS REAL NAME SO I COULD READ SOME OF HIS OTHER WORKS IF NOT ALREADY. SO KEEP UP THE AREA 51 SAGAS (ROBERT) I NO A FEW PEOPLE THAT I LONE MY (YOUR) BOOKS TO THAT ENJOYED THEM VERY MUCH AND THOSED THAT HAVE NOT READ THEM YET YOU REALLY ARE MISSING SOME AMSOME NOVELS. IF THESE AREA 51 NOVELS WERE MADE INTO MOVIES OR A MINI SERIES I CAN SAY FOR SURE THEY WOULD BE BETTER THAN THE MOVIE INDEPENDENCE DAY. IN SHORT YOU REALLY SHOULD READ THESE BOOKS YOU WILL ENJOY THEM 100%. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Review: My mom (who knows i love these types of books) picked it up in a store. And I'm hooked, now i hear there's a second part to it well, I know what i'll be buying especially for such a low price !!!!!!!!!

Review: Besides a few slow spots, Area 51 is an awsome book. I rarely read books, but when I do get them, I have to find an awsome one. The content connected so well that I thought the events were actually happening. I actually went home and looked up a name from the book on the internet. Great book. I would recommend it to anyone whether you reguarly read or not!!!

Summary: Great Sci-Fi out of Nowhere
Review: I saw the title "Area 51" and was immediately interested. This book was what sci fi is all about... some facts combined with just the right amount of imagination. But can anybody tell me why the old man who never left Area 51 but to go to the doctor had an outside phone number that was listed in the phone book!!! All in all a great read, look forward to find out who was listening.

Summary: A creative and inventive story
Review: I had a great time reading it. It brings together many myths/rumors together. Some are interesting, some are a stretch, but still great fun. Some the UFO lore X-files type stuff, such as the cattle mutilations perfomed by the Nightscape team were somewhat unclear. I've always liked stories about UFOs, MIB, crop circles, Great Pyramids, Atlantis etc. Now throw in Bigfoot, Yeti, Loch Ness Monster and you have a party! (just kidding) Some military details were off, but hey this isn't Larry Bond or Tom Clancy stuff. Bottom Line - fun book.

Review: This was a fun book. If you are a UFO buff or merely someone who wanders "what if?", this is a must read. It successfully ties together unexplained historic events and present day mysteries into a compelling work that is hard to put down.
