Summary: The pages just miraculously turn!
Review: Sparhawk and his friends have discovered the one and only cure for Queen Ehlana. Although the hope for success is very slight, they start their search which will lead them across the known world ... Eddings keeps on developing the characters of his protagonists and although this is basically a tragic, suspenseful story, the reader often can't surpress a chuckle, because the dialogues and observations are that funny. Well done, Mr Eddings

Summary: Our heroes search for the Hidden Magic Treasure. Wow.
Review: The Ruby Knight is certainly at a disadvantage - it is the second book in a series and it has a cliffhanger ending. The plot is an almost hap-hazard pile of different things that is hung on the repetitive storyline. Eddings even adds some horror-y elements, but the attempt fails - he reveals too much too soon.

What holds the book together? The crew of original, interesting characters that travels to find the Bhelliom (oh, yes, that's the entire plot; I just said it). Naturally, the characters do get stale after a while: we all know that Sephrenia is always mysterious, that Talen pickpockets anyone he meets, and that Kalten is going to lop off a few heads and then complain. I suppose that we have to take that with gritted teeth.

Marten is completely absent from this part of the trilogy, and so is the damork. However, we do get yet another generic supernatural creature to think of as the immediate villain: the evil, insectoid "Seeker" is constantly at the motley band's heels.

In all honesty, I read this volume just because I can't fathom starting a series and then not finishing it. This was not a reading experience that I might treasure.

Summary: The book is one that you cannot put down after you start it.
Review: The Ruby Knight rates up there with some of the best books I have read. Depending on how your imagination is this book get's very exciting. On opening the book read it with a very open and wild imagination and your garunteed to enjoy the book a hole lot more.

Summary: Brilliant David Eddings, just Billiant.
Review: The way Eddings brings the characters to life is superb. He has an enthralling way of keeping you up late with his 'can't put this book down' style of writing. Highly recommend this book and the whole series by Eddings. I will be reading any Eddings material I can get my hands on.

Summary: Bre's
Review: This book is everything a good fantasy novel should be. It is fast-paced, has great characters, and a good solid background. The writing style is smooth and powerful. The plot is very involving. All in all, a great read for any lover of fantasy.

Summary: The best of the series!
Review: This book is mostly Sparhawk traveling all over the place looknig for a cure for queen Ehlana. You could probably skip it entirly, but you'd miss out on count Ghasek (a man whose sister is absorbed in human sacrifice), the Peloi (savage riding men, if you've read the "Belgarion", think of the Algars), necromancy, Wargun's invasion of rendor and more! I'd say read it, just realize that it takes the entire book to get to the object they're after!

Summary: Thick and interesting.
Review: This book keeps the plot rolling.Very enjoyable would recommend. David Eddings does it again!

Summary: The Best of All the Books
Review: This book was so good, I had to read it again. It's less confusing than the first book, and there is still plenty of mystery to solve. The book is REALLY funny, too!
