Summary: A Good Novel..but no continuation from the Foundation Series
Review: This novel was a very good book to read and I was highly anticipating the book since hearing that Mr. KingsBury was going to be the author. But... the book had seemingly dumped the entire end of Foundation and Earth and removed the Gaia factor that was present there. As I stated before a good novel to read but I found follow through from the original series to this one very poor.

Summary: Excellent read
Review: This story is more-or-less an extension of Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. However, don't let that fact dissuade you from reading "Psychohistorical Crisis". It's very well written, with an intriguing storyline. The character development is carried out in a very enjoyable fashion. This isn't one of those "Gee, I know what's going to happen next" novels, which always counts as a plus in my book, so to speak.

If you like this novel, try finding a copy of "Courtship Rites", also by Donald Kingsbury.

Summary: way too long
Review: Way too long; precious little adventure. He should have stuck to Asimov's pattern or been more creative like Burgauer.
