Summary: Just another of life's cruel jokes.
Review: So, after several years of sporadically searching used book stores for "Perry, Mark", I finally struck gold. I rushed home and didn't quit until I'd devoured the book. I was mortified to find that he's never even finished the series.

The opening struggle between Dammuth and the forces of evil are as fine a bit of prose as has ever been written in the Fantasy genre. His storyline leaves plenty of doubt as to which side will be the eventual victor. As this is rarely done-- main characters never get whacked-- Perry's decision to quit early is all the more painful. Rarely is there as genuine a sense of suspense as to a conflict's outcome as with this unfinished tale.

Even if he can't find a publisher, he owes his completed text to we the fans.

Summary: An outstanding fantasy series!!!!! Please finish Mark!!
Review: This is an outstanding book that I read about 10 years ago while at college. The second book came out two years later and we are still waiting Mister Perry. Every time I go to the bookstore I always check the "P" fantasy section. Hoping that the third book has hit the shelf. Mark C. Perry if you are reading this please finish!!!

Summary: Excellent Book - Great story - never see the next version
Review: This is one of the best books I have every read. I think the plot if fast, fun and smart. Not to overly sapy and sweet. The characters are far more real than many that I have run across in sci-fi and fantasy. The only problem is that there will be no end. I have been told that the author is no longer with us.. so I think we will have to finish this story ourselves.

Summary: The BEST Fantasy series ever started!
Review: This is the first book of a 3 part series. The second book is just as good ... if not better (Is that possible!) Perry does an incredible job of completely developing all of his characters, this book may seem to be about one primary character, but Perry makes each character seem to be the main player in the story...no wonder book 3 is still not out- how can he write a 3rd book to match these two! Great, Greater and
