  Summary: What a fantastic book!
Review: This was one of my favorite books when I was younger. I always wanted to be like the main character, who was able to move objects with her mind. I recommend this book to anyone, especially children, who likes a well-plotted book about the paranormal. Kudos to the author!

Summary: one of my favorites as a kid
Review: This was one of my favorites when I was a kid. And I'm 27 now, so this is long before Rowling blessed the world with Harry Potter. I kind of wish I still had it around. I'll definately get one when I have my own kids. The story is simple and fascinating. Katie has magic powers and weird silver eyes. She also feels different and separate from the other kids around her. Is it possible there are other children with silver eyes? I've always felt separate and I've always wanted special powers. If you're sick of waiting for that English woman to write another Harry, pick up this one and see what us gen-x er's read when we were kids.
