Summary: Good book with severe editing problems.
Review: I really enjoyed this series. It's light SF, and I would recommend it to fans of early McCaffrey.

This volume, however, apparently underwent a major revision at the last moment with two cloudships being edited out, which left some continuity problems between it and Maia's Veil. If you plan to read Orion's Dagger, don't read the preview chapter in Maia's Veil.
