It helps all from the novice to the advanced rower to gain a more complete understanding of the dynamics of the stroke and the mental preparation that underlies any successful bid for victory. The section On Coaching was particularly enlightening. Overall, a very good read, especially considering some of the more techincal aspects of the book.
