Summary: This Book Is For All Muzzeload Hunters!
Review: After reading "Successful Muzzeloader Hunting"I was greatly impressed.This book covers the fundamentals from Old Traditional
Front Loaders to--->Modern Muzzeloaders.
There is information about percussion,projectiles,powders,and muzzeload hunting as well.Peter Schoonmaker also has an article "Blackpowder Barometer Bucks" which is one the best articles I find ever written about Whitetail Deer Hunting.It is awsome!THe Author is a true Outdoorsman.Also the knoweledge he shares in this book is a "Mastres Degree" about Muzzeloading.I would suggest everyone read this book.You will find yourself reading articles over again.Thanks Pete for so many years of information through field and research....

Summary: Everything you ever wanted to know-from both ends of the gun
Review: This book not only tells you everything you need to know about a variety of muzzleloaders (rifles and shotguns, and including everything from flintlocks to modern in-lines and everything in between) - enabling you to decide which may be best for you if you are in the market.

It also covers a wide range of large and small game animals that you may encounter and gives you extensive information on how best to hunt them. I have read a lot of "successful hunting" books, and this is the first one in an long while that took me back to when I was young, reading Field and Stream, itching to get out in the field and try out what I had learned.

This book is basically 2 for the price of one. It is printed in vivid, full color, and is generously illustrated. I found it to be a refreshing and enjoyable approach to hunting the most popular big and small game with a muzzleloader. An excellent read.
