Review: A rather straight forward narrative of the first American expedition to the Pamirs in the former Soviet Russian in the 70's. A lot of death on this expedition, but the telling of it is rather bland. Overall uninteresting unless you are interested in the history of mountaineering. Roskelley and Jeff Lowe were on this expedition.
