Review: This book is wonderfully writen and easy to understand for people who want to learn the basics of hockey. I have been an occasional spectator of the sport since 1965 and enjoy watching high school, college and professional games (especially the Minnesota Wild!). Unfortunately, I wasn't familiar with all of the rules and types of penalties (except for of course, high sticking, hooking and slashing). So just the other day, while watching an intense college game, I decided it was time to buy a book. I am pleased with my selection and am buying another copy for my friend. By the way, were women!
