Rating: 1 stars
Summary: A Dirty Diary
Review: This book was a huge disappointment and I hope that other will read this and benefit from my mistake.

I had expected a story/biography of a billiards or pool player perhaps along the lines of Playing Off the Rail or McGrooty. What I got was an unreadable mess.

Dirt Under the Felt is not much more that a rambling attact on the Billiards Congress of America (BCA) written by a gentleman who feels that the BCA is a huge conspiricy and that he has been greatly wronged by the orgnaization.

Mr. Haad goes into greatly boring detail about his trial and tribulations as he tried to run a business that was to some extent in competition with the BCA.

Overall this is not much more than a pamphlet that tries to indict the BCA for all sorts of wrongdoings both real and fancdiful.

While owning it may add to the completeness of a pool/billiards library, the book itself is a waste of reading time.
