Summary: Best round ever.
Review: I had the pleasure of playing several rounds of golf with Robert Brown. As helpful as his book "The Golfing Mind" has been to me, his insights and instructions as we worked on my game has been invaluable. I had rarely broken 90 until we started playing together. The best round of my life (83)came in a match with him and a gentleman who for all the world reminded me of Shivas Irons. Perhaps there is a special faternity of great golfing minds and on occassion a neophyte is allowed to witness the wizards at work. The events of that round are burned into my memory and are the standard by which I gauge my game. Thank you Bob.

Summary: No easy read or quick fix, but filled with golf knowledge
Review: I read both reviews before buying the book. Both were right. Not simple entertainment and not quick fixes, but certainly a lot of information. No stories of the tour and a lot of abstract ideas make it less fun reading, but I thought it was better than any other mental game book out there-like the difference between playing a golf course with windmills and Pebble Beach.

Summary: Yawn
Review: This book is like a text book for university students. It's too academic. If you want practical information or entertainment this is not a book for you.
