Summary: Great book for hunters and outdoorsmen
Review: The book "Hunting North America's Big Game" is about Bob Hagel,. a men who has hunted for over half a century. Hagel talks all about the different terrain that he has hunted, everything from sunny, banked deserts of the Southwest to the very windy tundra of the North, looking for every type of big game animal. Many of the chapters discus about how to approach, track and how to shoot game in the many different types of trains and weather . Hagel has also worked as a professional guide-outfitter and is a very well- known outdoor writer. He has taken part in many wildlife studies to help big game management. In doing this he has gained lots of knowledge of big game animals. This is one of the reasons why he is such a great hunter.

This book is very well-written and flows well. Even the smallest things add up when big game hunting. In the first few chapters Hagel starts off very basically but leads up to the more important things such as weapons, guides and strategy techniques. A few of the chapters go into depth about terrain and habitat. Over all the book was very good for anybody that hunts big game or likes reading about animals' habitat.
