Review: This is another of the many fine books written by historian Don Nardo for young students and general readers. Here, he presents a series of short but lively and highly informative biographies of important figures from Roman history, including Marius, Caesar, Augustus, Nero, and others. Kids in school will get a lot out of this and Nardo's other books about Greek and Roman history, but adults who know little about history and want to learn more will benefit too.
