Review: Forbidden is a wonderful novel centered around the life of the royal family, the Torchanes, after the king is poisoned. Khisrathi has to leave Maze Island, the island of the sorceresses, to help her family. Much to the dismay of some of the sorceresses, she helps them out the only way she can, with her magic.
Throughout all the twists and turns, courts and fights, are two desperate love stories, one where the love is reciprocated, and one where the love is being played. I won't give any more away!
This book is utterly fantastic! I would recommend it to anyone, other than little kids, because it would go way over their heads. Theresa Chambers has created a masterpiece, and I wish more people would read it. It truly is one of the best books I have ever read.
