Summary: Great Guide to College and Life
Review: Amare and McMyne have done something unique in this book. Their stories and suggestions guide students to do what is right in college - they don't lecture and they dont tell you what you HAVE to do, but rather, they tell you what you CAN do to be a success in the university system. This book is an enjoyable read - if you venture to read it your DREAM will come true by learning how to be NICE!

Thumbs up!

Summary: Great Read
Review: I had the opportunity to meet one of the authors of this amazing book in Washington DC at a conference where he was named the North American Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year. It was incredible to hear his story and to listen to him speak. What is more incredible is the book he has written. This is a must read if you want to know, deep down, how to succeed. I recommend this book with two thumbs up. The authors talk to you-not at you. I just wish I would have had this when I decided to go to college. What an incredible book.

Summary: A Bit Absurd
Review: I have been in college for 4 years. I couldn't relate to anything in this book. I don't know who this book if for, but it is not for undergraduates.

I cannot recomend it.

Summary: Great Read
Review: I purchased this book for my daughter who is a graduating senior in high school. When the book arrived, I read it prior to giving it to her. While it is not the best book for parents, it is a fantastic read for students. I wish it were around when I went to college. It will be the book I give as graduation presents to all of my daughter's friends. I recommend it highly.

Summary: Great Read
Review: Real Life University is the perfect gift for any high school student (the perfect graduation gift for seniors; the perfect birthday or Christmas gift for any other grade). It is not just a "how to" guide for college, but for life. Therefore, it would be great even for students who may not be planning to continue their education after high school. The basic premise of the book is to encourage young people to: respect themselves, respect their work, respect others, and find themselves before it is too late. The book stresses that one can easily fritter away time in college and that there are life consequences of doing so. The most helpful part of the book was the last chapter of "Dos and Don'ts." It was insightful and instructive without being "preachy." Students will enjoy it's entertaining manner enough to really pay attention to the messages contained in the book. A must-read for high school and college students!

Summary: An excellent supplementary and preparatory book
Review: Real Life University: Mastering The Maze by Michael McMyne (one of America's youngest motivational speakers) and experienced university educator Nicole Amare, is a truly "user friendly" guide to helping students increase their academic and social success at college. Individual chapters aptly address the importance of staying focused on objectives, good study habits, looking ahead to the future and possible careers, and a great deal more. Real Life University is highly recommended as an excellent supplementary and preparatory book for high-school seniors anticipating college life, as well as university enrolled students who are currently struggling for their own academic and personal success.
