Review: "Katherine: Heart of Freedom" is one of the best books I have ever read. It is the only one in the series I've read so far, but I'm going to get the others as soon as I can! I'm not going to write anything about "Katherine" - except to say that it's great- because if I do, I know I'll spoil the ending! I recomend this book to anyone! Happy reading!!

Review: I fell in love with this book as soon as I read the excerpt on the back of it. I became so involved in the book that i read it just a few hours! Dokey's use of detail effectively brought the story to life.I fell in love with charactors and thier world as if i were tking part in the action. It had me cheering for Kit and Bold Will till the end. When i had finnished the book, I immediately had to get my hads on the sequel, "Charlotte:Heart of Hope". Once again Dokey delivers a heartwarming novel of adventure and love. This irresitable spirit is again successfully reflected in "Stephanie:Heart of Gold" and "Carrie:Heart of Courage", the final two books of the series. After finishing the entire series for the third time, I began to wonder. What would the next generations of Kelly women be like? What adventure will they embark on next? And ultimately, what keepsake would they tuck away into the fine hope chest, telling of thier legacy.

Review: I love this book! Katherine and Charoltte are two of my all-time favorite books. I read both of these classics when I was much younger but I still love them! I recommend both these amazing stories to anyone. They are romantic, interesting, thrilling, and historical. These two books will forever be among my favorite books.

Review: This is a book about a girl who wants an adventure. She is sick of sitting around sewing and doing the other "womanly tasks." One night she sees a young man running from the British, seeing the adventure she was longing for she opens the door to him and all the exicitment he brings. Later, with him, she steals from the British and even takes place in the Boston Tea Party. I thought all 4 books in this set were very good, but this one is my favorite. I think this is a good book for younger girls and girls in their teens. I first read it when I was around 12 and now that I'm 15 I like it just as much. The books in this set show what I want to be, I want to be a brave, smart, and caring person just like the main characters in these books.

Review: This is by far the most amazing book i have ever read. The way that she will risk anything for her loved one really touched my heart. I am still waiting for the other books to arrive. I hope that it will be just as good as this book. This book shows courage and shows that someone doesn't have to be another person to be accepted. There will always be someone that will accept you as who you are.

Review: This is probly one of the best books I've ever read. It's about a girl named Katherine (kit) who is sick of doing chours. She longs for adventure and finds it when she sees a patriot named Will, about to get cornnered by the loyalist officers. She beconds him to the house and hides him till the soilders disappear. When he finally leaves she knows they must meet again. She soon gets involved with the band of patriots Will is leader of. The thing is they think she's a man. This book is filled with romance and adventure, a must read!!!!!!!!!

Review: This is the first book in the Hearts and Dreams series, a saga that traces the story of a fictional family throughout American history through the lives of four young women. Katherine Morrison is a teenage girl living in Boston just prior to the American Revolution. She sides with her patriot father, and that distances her from her loyalist mother. Kit, as she is called, desperarley wants to play a part in fighting British tyranny, but as a girl, she is expected to help with the household chores until she finds a suitable husband. When Kit spots a young man being chased by loyalists, she hides him in her room until they go away. She is drawn to the young man, whose name is Will. Although he leaves once the coast is clear, Kit hopes that they will meet again, because she is falling in love with him. This was a wonderful historical love story for teens who enjoy these types of books.
