Summary: review of tears
Review: This book is both dramatic and full of action. It is based on real life situations and consequences. My favorite character was Gerald, because when all of this was going on, with the crash and his father beating him, he held on and didn't let go. One of the things that I didn't like is the way that Andy was acting. He was always mad at everyone, and he acted like everything was fine when he was really hanging on by a thin string. There are a lot of morals to this story. I recommend this story to anyone who has wondered what it feels like to lose a close friend.

Summary: TEARS OF A TIGER
Review: Tears of a Tiger is a book written by Sharon M. Draper which describes the importance of friendship. It is about a group of teenagers that are really close. They face a lot of good times and even more bad times.

Throughout the book, Andy has to deal with more and more problems. He never acted the same since Rob was killed in the severe accident. He has suffered so much that he puts himself down.

This book is perfect for anyone who is full of emotions or who has ever thought life is perfect because it isn't. Let me suggest one thing though, if you have had a major tragedy in your life, and you just got over the memories you may not want to read this book. This will teach you a lot of things so that you can face reality.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is a book about a teenager, Andy Jackson, that participated in a vehicular homicide which killed his best friend, Rob Washington. After the accident Andy is having trouble coping with his friend's death. I liked a couple of things about this book. The way it was written was really interesting. Instead of chapters, it was written as English homework, phone calls, and notes. I also like the message of "Don't drink and drive."

All in all, I really didn't like the book. It was very depressing throughout the entire book. The book never seemed to lighten up with the depression. The end was also predictable. So I recommend this book to people that like depressing books.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy, who was in an accident and his best friend,Rob, got killed. Andy deals with the trouble and pain, thinking he's responsible for his friend's death, and how he suffers and feels as if he shouldn't live anymore. Throughout this book, the poems and emotions will make you want to cry. For example, one of the things Andy says is,"It's not that I want to die- it's just that I can't stand the pain of living anymore. I just want the hurt and pain inside to go away. It's like a monster in my gut- eating me up from the inside. I feel the only thing that's keeping me from going crazy is this terrible, terrible pain.I left for school but half way there I forgot where I was going or why, so I came home to sit on my lumpy, linty bed spread wishing I had never been born, stroking the smooth, cool barrel of my father's gun. I'm sorry for everything I've done, sorry, sorry,sor..." I really enjoyed this book, and I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a funny, but sad book.

Summary: tears of a tiger
Review: Tears of a tiger is a book about a teenage boy named Andy who had a terrible tradgedy in his life, in which his best friend was killed. He is having a really hard time dealing with the situation. He is always depressed. It is neat how each chapter is different. Throughout the book there is a variety of ways the book was written. It includes poetry, newspaper articles, ect.

My favorite character is Andy. He had alot going on in his life. He didn't have the most courage, and he wasn't the most self-confident of himself, but he is special in his own way.

I would recommend this book to teenagers so they can see what bad decisions can do to a persons life.

Summary: tears of a tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is a book about a 17 year-old- boy named Andy who has a lot of trouble getting over the death of his best friend,Rob.When the accident took place,Rob was killed.

Andy's friends, who were also involved in the accident, tried to help Andy through the crisis, but he did not have everything that it took to overcome the incident.

Things really started to turn really bad when his girlfriend,Kiesha, broke up with him.She was the only person Andy really talked to openly.

I did not enjoy this book for the most part because everything seemed to have a downside.

I did enjoy the book because of the realistic situation that not only Andy, but also all of his family, school, and closest friends found themselves in.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy who was driving when his best friend was killed in a carwreck. He seems to find life's struggles at a most detrimental time.

During the book Andy goes through a terrible time. Anybody who reads the book would agree that this book was very easily read and understood. I just kept asking myself, why can he not put this accident behind him? Yhen I realized, who could? Andy was definetly a character you could like and get behind. This was a very powerful and a very moving book. I recommend this book to teenagers who enjoy reading.

Summary: Dakota`s Review
Review: This story is about a boy named Andy who was in an appalled car accident, and his best friend,Rob, died. After the car accident Andy becomes very depressed.

This is a very realistic story. It talks about the struggle of a teenage boy trying to emerge out of depression. Andy`s friends try to help, but can only do so much if Andy hides his feelings from them.

I would highly recommend this book to people who like books about realistic situations. At times this book can be very mournful.
