Rating: Summary: Ever World 4 Review: If I were to rate this book Ever World 4 from 1-10 I would rate this book a 10.The reason why I would rate this book a 10 is because it comes in a series so it would have to start in action and this book does.Another reason why I would rate this book a 10 is because you never know what's going to happen next. For example, in the beginning the characters were caught by half men and half horses, and the characters didn't expect it and neither do the readers. This is also a good book because it makes you eager to go on and keep on reading the book; it makes you read more carefully, and it really keeps you reading. For example, some times the book is confusing because the characters go back and forth, into the future and into the past,so it's confusing and it makes you go back and read more carefully, and by doing that you are becoming a better reader. This book makes you keep on reading because the book is interesting. It is full of huge snakes, half men and half horse creatures, wolves, and other things. I'm sure that if you read this book you will also rate this book,Ever World 4, a 10.
Rating: Summary: W.T.H?! Welcome to Hel Review: Jalil, David, April, and Christopher have landed in one of the worst places yet. They are fed and well taken care, Until they find out about a cave that could take them home. But instead they have entered the realm of Hel. Loki's half dead daughter. She can get all mens attention (Mortal, Immortal, and Gods). She has a beauty to her that no one can resist. David, Christopher and Jalil do not have a will of their own. When Hel is about toss them to her snake, Jalil comes upon Senna. This reunion was not good at all. Better yet, all of them are about to fall to Hel's giant snake that is miles long! W.T.E
Rating: Summary: Chilling Page Turner with a Twist Ending! Review: Possibly K.A.'s best work Yet! It scared, well... the HEL out of me! (heh heh). I think K.A. has been dying to write this one. The descriptions of everything are so Vivid! Perhaps TOO vivid in Hel's Case. I love Nidhoggr. Of all Characters, Jalil has to be the most Complex. He is a man of Science and now has to abandon everything he ever learned. He obviously has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). And has some connection to Seena, but we don't know yet, now do we? If you need to know everything, I'll try to sum it up. The Four finally reach a city, only to discover that they serve Hel, Loki's third, and most evil, child. Hel's Description: Half living, irresistable beauty; half rotting, pee-in-your-pants ugly, corpse. Hel seduces Jalil, Christopher, and David by covering her dead half. They actaully have to go INTO Norse Hell to get away. Only to find Seena and the Midgard Serpent, Loki's Second child. I'm not spoiling anymore! Sorry
Rating: Summary: Terrifyingly Good! Review: Realm of the Reaper was absolutely terrifying! I don't get scared that easily, which just goes to show that Ms. Applegate has pure talent. I would not reccomend this book to anyone under eight years of age because of mild sex, violence, and the fact that it's just plain scary. My cousin stayed awake all night when I told her the story. Like I said, Absitively, Posolutely, FRIGHTENING!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Enthralling ! Review: So far I have read all four books of Everworld. I have to say, WOW! I cannot wait until "Discover the Destroyer" comes out at our bookstores. I don't think Katherine really needs to add anything else. I really like her character Christopher. He sounds really stuck up in leprechauns and elves, especially the word "freaking". I would suggest these books to anyone who loves anything to do with mythology, dragons, castles, the middle ages. I hope she keeps this series up.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: So far, the Everworld books have kept my nose stuck in a book. I can't wait until the next one comes out. The way the books always end in cliff-hangers irritate me a little, though. And as a warning to readers who are easily grossed out, it's a tad gory. But other than that, I loved it!
Rating: Summary: A most excellent find! Review: The books by K.A. Applegate are amazing. I have read Animorphs, another one of her series, since the seventh grade. I have now graduated and moved up to Everworld, where there is danger and mystery everywhere. These books are filled with everything from action, to humor, to even romantic scenes. This is truly one series not to be missed.
Rating: Summary: This is an imaginative and entransing series. Review: The first thing that drew me into this series was the believable personalities of the 4 main characters. These teenagers represent what everyone wants to be, funny, brave, logical, and witty. They are incredibly different yet they all have the same goal. Another thing that drew my interest to the series was the detail, it almost makes you think Applegate was writing non-fiction. Another thing that kept me reading was the constant danger. I am about to finish the second book and I just bought the first one last week and that is the very reason.
Rating: Summary: Applegate continues to keep her series original... Review: The first three Everworld books seemed to feel like a 3-part story introduction to what K.A. was giving to her readers. This book is the first one that stands on its own and starts anew from within the line, igniting a whole new line that is continuous for several books afterward.Although Jalil is not the most interesting character that has been brought to Everworld, you get to see that there is more than meets the eye when you learn his connection to Senna, who is still acting elusive and has yet to be found by the real-world group. Christopher continues to have much strong humor in the book, and the start is interesting as they all find themselves in a new situation. But I believe the best part of the book isn't until they meet Hel, who is just as dangerous as Loki and will seriously creep you out. I'm telling you, the vision of what hell is like in this book is dark, dirty, and dreadful if you are hoping never to end up there. But that is good for the series, because not only do you get to see how much interesting fact the author has put into this, but where the encounter will take the rest of the books. Trust me, after you read this book you will want to continue reading onto the next one.
