Rating: Summary: a great book! Review: This is a wonderfull story about a british girl named Lorna and an ancient egyptian boy named Amnie. I loved this book because lorna remindes me of my self. She dosen,t know how lucky she is to be in egypt! This is a absolute must have for any Egypt freak like me.
Rating: Summary: A wonderfully rich book Review: This is one of those books you want to read over and over again. Masterfully combining two settings, Ancient Egypt and Modern-Day Britain, two people, Ameni, singled out by birth, and Lorna, who SEEMS only a bookworm with dreams of becoming an archaeologist, and two views on life, it reaches to unknown heights. Through a strange twist of fate, the dual part of the book becomes one, and the plot twists and turns as the two young people chase thieves all across England. In the process, they discover new things about themselves, and their potential. From the gripping beginning, to the stunning and surprising conclusion, the book rolls like the Nile itself. It is a MUST READ
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Books I've Ever Read Review: This is the page-turning story about an ancient Egyptian prince and a moder British girl who loves Egyptology. When these two teenagers got together they found that they could do almost anything and win a long-lasting friendship.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: This story is adventurous and romantic and historic. It makes you want to go out to Egypt and dig for something like what Lorna found. The author translates the two teen's feelings so perfectley, it almost makes it believable. This book was GREAT!
Rating: Summary: Fingernails on a chalkboard Review: What struck me about this book is the intensity to which my head felt like exploding while reading it. I hate to leave books unfinished, and I used to think that was a good habit. If you have such a habit, may I suggest against this book at the sake of your health.
