Rating: Summary: Reach for Tomorrow Review: One of McDaniel's finest- not only a good way to end Katie and Josh's life, but a creative way to bring together various Wish recipients and their friends. It just goes to show the Circle of Life, and how so many people are connected through one letter of giving. People who would have never met had it not ben for JWCs letter.
Rating: Summary: Reach For Tomorrow Review: Reach for Tomorrow was, like, THE best One Last Wish book I have ever read. I've read most of the One Last... books, and absolutly adore them. One of my fav. parts of this book was when Lacey decides to "serenade" the guys at 4 am. That was soo funny! I was touched at how Katie felt when Josh got hurt. I was worried that they would break up permenently. I mostly enjoyed the humor that ms. McDaniel added into the book. I was laughing through the whole entire book. But I think my fav. part was when Katie told her friends that she and Josh were getting married and that she wanted them to be her brides' maids. I was soo tickled! Again, I think this was the best work of Ms. McDaniel's yet. Jennifer
Rating: Summary: One of her best yet! Review: Saying this book was good would be a vast understatment. Unfortunately, it seems to be the end of the One Last Wish series, though, and I sincerely hope this isn't really the case - there's still a lot Lurlene could do with this group of characters. She brings together characters from ALL of the one last wish books, back to Jenny House, as it's being rebuilt.. I won't say any more than that, but, if you've liked ANY of her books before, READ THIS ONE!
Rating: Summary: A terrific book...very moving Review: So. Josh, Chelsea, Katie, Lacey have returned to Jenny House. After last year's devastating fire, they never expected to return, but with some help from "angels" and the One Last Wish foundation itself, Mr. Holloway has rebuilt it. Now, they are joined by Meg, Morgan, Eric and Sarah all previous charcters from other One Last Wish novels. Together, all of them learn what being brave and the true meaning of courage. Katie's slightly unsettled, when it comes to her and Josh, but when Josh faces "unexpected adversity," she must decided her feelings for her. This was a terrific novel, and shows the true meaning of life. All of these charcters face horrible odds, yet they still overcome it, and live life to the fullest.
Rating: Summary: This is a fantastic book! Review: The way that the characters from previous OLW novels come together is spectacular! All of their lives are entwined for one summer. This is by far my most favorite OLW novel. It ties up the loose ends of some of her previous OLW books. I have read her books for a long time and have enjoyed every book. This book is a wonderful example of her writing abilities. I strongly recommend this book to anyone! Keep up the good work!
Rating: Summary: A Good Book Review: This book is a great book. Filled whith love. I know you will love it.If you like this book be sure to read the rest of the of the bookes in the One last wish series
Rating: Summary: My very personal favorite OLW book! Review: This book is my favorite in all books in general. Jenny House, as you know (if you read this series, of course), was burned last year. It is now rebuilt and as beautiful as the first one. Megan Charnel was invited to stay in the Jenny House, including Eric Lawrence and Morgan Lancester, who are also new. The old people were Katie, Lacey, and Chelsea. Sarah is also new this year. This book is so sad because it's the last book in the series. It's partly sad, but sort of funny. There are romance in here too. So catch this book. I wished Ms. McDaniel could make another sequel followed this book!!!
Rating: Summary: Awsome and really touching Review: This book is really interesting and really good, its like lost love has come back. I really like it, it was a very nice book, It was very touching and I loved it a lot. The book is very good, like the people who lost somebody they love, found someone again that they love now in this book and made them belive in love again, This is the last . Its a dream to all girls to be happy and loved by someone special.
Rating: Summary: Reach for Tomorrow Review: This book takes place the summer after the Jenny House burned down. This year, Katie, Lacey, Chelsea, and Josh are joined by, Eric, Morgan, and Megan. In this book, Katie wants Josh back, but cant have hime because he already has a new gf. So whenever she sees him, she always thinks about thye old times. But Josh admitts to Morgan that his new gf means nothing to him, that all he wants is Katie. Morgan wants Megan, but so does Eric, who already has taken Megan out a couple of times. Now Chelsea wants Eric, but Eric doesnt like Chelsea that way. Meanwhile Dullas is back and is in Katies cabin this year, is starting to become friends w/ Sarah. OK, that is as short as I can describe the book. It was good, but it basically focused on Megabs point of view, and not the original characters. I think that Ms. McDaniel should definatly write a sequel to this.
Rating: Summary: Some of the best writing I've seen from Lurlene! Review: This book was a totally new and different experiance. I've read almost every book by Lurlene and well this one is on my top 10 list. It's great how they mixed all the One Last Wish characters into one. I strongly recommend this book to everyone. Especially if you've read all the One Last Wish Books...
