Summary: The Search: Regeneration #2
Review: "The Search" continues with the exciting adventures of 5 teenage clones trying to escape from the evil scientist who created them and now wants to destroy them. This is Eric's book. In book #1 Eric chose not to join the other clones feeling that he was safe with his family in Texas. However, he learns that not only is he not safe, but neither is his family when Dr. Victor and his wife kidnap Eric's sister thinking that she is one of the clones. All of the clones have some extraordinary power that helps them escape sticky situations. This book has adventure galore and is complete in itself but much more enjoyable when read after book #1, titled "Regeneration". This series is a real winner!

Summary: Wow! Oh, WOW!
Review: I just finished reading REGENERATION #2, THE SEARCH, and all I can say is, "WOW! L.J. Singleton did it again!" What a FABULOUS story this was. From a kidnapping to a mysterious coffin on a roof-top, from loyalty and friendship, to intrigue, deceit and physical danger, this book kept me spellbound all the way through it. It's definitely a MUST read for all ages.

One word of warning, however... even though this book would stand alone and be great without reading the first book of the series, I would HIGHLY recommend reading book number one, REGENERATION, first, because then your enjoyment of the second book will be even greater.

This is a WONDERFUL series for kids as young as ten all the way through adults. GREAT BOOKS!

Summary: The Search Really Pulls You In
Review: Sometimes sequels to a book can be disappointing. That is not the case with this book. The storyline of the five cloned teenagers introduced in Regeneration is expanded in this book. The author, L.J. Singleton, has well-developed characters, with specific information about their personal lives and medical wonders unfolding at a suspenseful, wild pace.Besides fleeing from danger, the teen clones use the World Wide Web and other cool current technology to solve the mystery. Just when one mysterious event seems solved, another pops up to keep your interest.I mean no disrespect when I say "this ain't no Nancy Drew". I only mean that it is fresh, current, new and different than anything I have ever read before. This series has the possibility for growth and may become the next long-running fiction hit with fans.

Summary: This Book
Review: This book mainly starts out when a fifteen-year-old boy named Eric finds out that his family is being visited by a mysterious couple claiming to be from a popular television show on adoption.

Regeneration will grab you, and it is very promising. Readers should choose this book.

The writer is extremely an expert, and I really enjoyed reading The Search.

Summary: Five teens discover they are clones in REGENERATION
Review: What would you do if someone suddenly announced you were a clone with super powers?

A. Burst out laughing. This must be a joke. B. Say, "You're crazy! No way am I am clone!" C. Tremble with fear and totally freak out. D. Exclaim, "A clone? Way cool!"

In the first REGENERATION book, ordinary teenagers are shocked to learn they are far from ordinary. They were created in a secret cloning experiment on a mysterious yacht. But something went wrong and now one of the doctors involved in the experiment is plotting to kill the clones.

When a strange blond boy named Chase warns Varina she's in danger, she thinks he's nuts. She doesn't believe her uncle was involved in a secret experiment and she definitely doesn't believe she's in danger--until she finds her house ransacked and her uncle unconscious. Varina is soon on the run with Chase, searching for the other clones before it's too late.

Writing about clones was a natural "next step" for me. My first published book, ALMOST TWINS, was about two girls who pretend to be twins. Then I was hired to write a Sweet Valley Twins. I also published a 4-book series, MY SISTER THE GHOST, about a girl who has adventures with her ghostly twin.

Lookalikes, twins, and now clones. Writing about kids who find they're DNA duplicates is just another way of exploring the differences and similarities of human nature. I've always been curious about the nature versus nurture issue. Are we the way we are because of our DNA or because of how we were raised?

In #1 REGENERATION, the discovery of cloning is met with shock, disbelief and fear. By #2 THE SEARCH, Eric strives to understand and control his unusual clone power. In #3 THE TRUTH, Allison meets her adult clone and learns more about her true identity. And in #4 THE IMPOSTER, Sandee's secret power is finally revealed.

I hope readers enjoy this exciting new series. You can read SAMPLE CHAPTERS and view book covers at my website: <http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/4815/>
