Power of the Night (The Lamb Among the Stars)

Summary: FANTABULOUS!
Review: As a staunch fan of JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis, when I picked up the book The Shadow at Evening, I saw on the cover was written, 'A fantasy in the tradition of CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien' So I thought to myself, "Chris Walley is some Tolkien/Lewis wannabe that probably writes fine, but not fantastic." (I bought it anyway.) Boy was I wrong! The Power of the Night is the sequel to The Shadow at Evening and the second book in the Lamb among the Stars series. This book was exceedingly well written and Chris Walley is on my good list! This book was written for teens, but younger kids can definitely read it as well. (Parents, if your younger kids are sensitive and easily scared, wait a little bit before letting them read this book. Parts of it might scare younger children. Same goes for Shadow at Evening.) Note to my fellow teens: Even if you're not a Christian, you'll still enjoy this book. This book is basically a Sci-Fi Good vs. Evil, adventure-packed, absolutely wonderful novel that I'm proud to own and I can't wait for the other books in the series to come out. (I've heard a rumor that Chris Walley is going to write 4 books in the series.)
