Review: Highly origanal. I really loved it. It is one of the few books that I have read the is not just a re-telling of another book. It's a shame it went out of print.

Review: I found this book wandering the library one day. I'm glad I found it. It gave me a strong warm feeling from this book. It perfectly fit my fantasy. I'm a huge cat lover, and this book is awsome! I highly suggest this wonderful book to any fantasy lover, or a cat lover.

Review: I love this book! I've only got it today at my school's library and began reading it today. I'm half way finished and believe I'll be finished tomorrow. Usually when reading a book it takes me a week, but when reading this one, it really pulled me in and the details are so well put out that you can actually see it and feel each emotion when Ratha gets rejected, Angry, when she mates with Bonechewer and even when she gives birth. I really recommend this book. ... :)

Review: I think this book is one of the best books I've ever read. (and I've read a lot) The author wrote this book so good! The way she writes you actually feal all of Ratha's feelings and I usually don't cry over books but I did for this one. It's awful this book is out of print. I hope someday i can read the others!

Summary: Still vivid in my memory after 12 years
Review: My grandmother worked for MacMillan publishers and would often bring home books that were printed backwards, upside down, slanted, whatever. I read every one, and Ratha's Creature haunts me. I must have read that book a dozen times! It is an adventure, a love story, a moral lesson that subtley instructs the reader to never judge a book by it's cover. Luckily I didn't, or I would never have had the opportunity to read this treasure!

Review: Ratha's Creature gets you interested in just who these characters are right from the start, and the plot carries you through the growth and maturation and eventual "awakening" of Ratha, and her heartbreak at the cubs she birthed being without the gift that her clan prizes in its members.

Review: Ratha's Creature is a fabulous book with characters that stick with you well after you have finished it. The plot and setting are ingenious and highly origional. I don't believe I have ever seen another book with that setting. Excellent book, one of my favorites.
