Summary: The Best
Review: This baby is by far the best hand held currently availabe.

I originally purchased the Handspring Pro, which is a nice b/w model, but it broke after a minor fall to the floor. Moving up to the Sony, I am very pleased with it's build quality. I may sound clumsy, but after three drops to the floor it has had no problems (keeping fingers crossed).

Although I would like more memory, it does hold all I need for work and play: Davis and ePocrates Rx..., Noah's dictionary and thesaurus, Vindigo's city guide and a few channels at Avantgo, a few games, and of course all your personal data. The limiting factor (for all handhelds) is that you must have the main program(s) on your handheld, while storing the database on the expansion slot (for sony, that's their memory stick).

Memory stick prices have fallen recently, and that's great since you can store a couple high quality CD's in mp3 format on a 128 stick. I highly recommend that you use the "MSImport" feature that comes on the Clie CD, rather than the clunky RealJukebox or Sony audio software they emphasise. MSImport opens up the memory stick as a drive in Windows Explorer, so you can simply drag your songs over. With the included USB connection to your Clie, it's quick and easy.

Of course the cream in your coffee is that gorgeous screen. It's cleaner and brighter than any other screen offered for Palm or PocketPC.

Palm was the easy choice OS for me. Plenty of apps (just check out palmgear.com) and such an easy click-open type of interface that I was sold quickly when I compared it to the Windows PocketPC OS. I use mine at work and even after 16 hours there is little drain on the battery.

Durable, efficient, elegant, simply the best =)

Summary: 1 for all
Review: This is a real "wannahave". I already wanted this thing before it was invented. No need for a PDA ánd mp3 player anymore. Easy to sync because it uses the latest Palm software. Great design. It's like a Palm 505. Only this is more.

Summary: Sony Clie PEGN760C
Review: This is one of the best products ever. I really enjoyed the vibrant screen and the overall structure and quality of the manufacturing is excellent. The only problem I have with this is the memory gate memory sticks. They are a bit expensive, and don't seem to be getting cheaper anytime soon, since there are no competitors. But if you are looking for a palm based os, this is the one, and the mp3 feature is nice too, although if you are buying this for the mp3 player, just go and buy an mp3 player, 500.00 is too much to spend to show off an mp3. I've tried pocket pcs and although their nice, I didn't really enjoy the overall bulkiness of all the handhelds. Palm offers the best size and functionality of all handhelds today, with great expandability.

Summary: Wonderful handheld with plenty of power
Review: This unit is probably the closest thing you can get to a Pocket PC without having a Pocket PC (this is a palm on steroids!)
The built-in mp3 player is wonderful (nice remote and headphones too) and the screen is just phenominal. The screen is at least as great as my computer screen (the high resolution and 65,356 colors). It has a fast processor as well. I really appriciate the expandable memory stick slot as well. The software Sony put on this is really great, the picture viewer and movie player
(this thing even came with two music videos!). It's one of the best Palm-OS units you can buy in my opinion. It also looks really cool with that brushed aluminum!

Summary: Not very impressed
Review: When I first got this Clie, I was very impressed. Overall it is a good product, but putting songs on the memeory stick was a huge hassle with Sony's check in/check out program. I finally found out how to attach it as a drive to my computer and then you can just copy songs very easily. One month after I purchased this product, Sony came out with two new Clie's, though they seem to be priced to high, I felt cheated. I would recommend getting a Palm m515. First I like the idea of media cards where you can upload a map or whater you want. Also, most other accesories are geared towards a Palm product. I wanted to get a cheap GPS add-on for the Clie and it doesn't exist. Altough I have seen one for a Palm. Once again, I feel cheated out of a cool feature. I think I will sell it on Ebay and get a m515.
