Summary: Middle of the road but that's all you get on this subject
Review: I have been hunting around for books on Acapulco, and basically I've found that it is a weak area for the established travel authors. This book lacks the kinds of detail and "meat" that you expect in a travel book, but again, so does the competition. Perhaps it has to do with the destination? If you can accept the paucity of good information on Acapulco, then this book covers the bases. It gives enough restaurant and club names to pass muster, gives the necessary travel warnings and hints, and tells you where you need to be given your wants. You can read all of this book in 2 hours. Nice size for traveling but not such a good reference book for getting around.
