Review: Fantastic! Altho this book is an older guidebook (where to eat, where to stay, what to see and do around Victoria, Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands) it stands up well. My copy is dogeared and very well worn 10 years after I purchased it. Forget about the Butchart Gardens - this book leads you to the lesser known gems that locals know about but tourists rarely discover. It's a classic, written in a lively chatty style. Wish it were more widely available - a great gift to anybody visiting this area (or locals!)
