Review: this really isn't too useful since travelling in Yemen now has changed significantly. one can tell that it was originally written quite well and written will solutions and approaches to many of the annoyances particular to Yemen in mind. i didn't find a single thing mentioned in this book to be up to date either. the only redeeming feature was the extras on Yemeni culture, history, architecture, etc. maps are mediocre.
