Rating: Summary: Travels with my family - what an undertaking! Review: Exploring the world with your spouse and three kids sounds like an impossible dream. Roger makes it sound doable for the average Joe with imagination and stamina (and a well-organized spouse!). A mixture of information, insights, humor and introspection. I loved it! And I'm not saying that just because I'm his aunt and godmother....
Rating: Summary: Ramble On! Six Months Around the World With Yer Typical Amer Review: Funny, Inciteful, Loving, What a trip It's like you are right there with them. They have lots of guts.
Rating: Summary: Ramble On! Six Months Around the World With Yer Typical Amer Review: I don't read much...too busy with the three C's cooking cleaning kids. That's why I liked this book. I canread a few pages at a time...watching soccer, waiting in thecar, standing in the checkout line. It's better than the National Enquirer!
Rating: Summary: Entertaining yet informative! Review: I haven't seen or talked to Roger in probably 15+ years back on Kenneth Ave. and was very pleased to know that he wrote this book! Roger was of those "older" Tauchman boys (older than me anyway) that I sort of idolized with their wit and athletic abilities. I am almost finished reading Ramble On, which I read exclusively on the train to work. It is very entertaining, educational and sometimes very colorful (bullfights & French hotels). I hate to admit that his teenage children write better than me! I still have to look up some words that Alex used.. A must read for any wannabe worldwide traveler - these guys are the real thing! Nice job, Roger and family. It was good catching up with you Roger, even though it was a one-way dialogue.

Rating: Summary: The Traveling Tauchmans Are Truly a Delight! Review: Ramble On! is truly a pleasure to read. It follows an American family on their travels around the world. It's witty and humorous but also includes helpful insight for anyone thinking of traveling overseas, especially with children. This book will make you smile and think about why you keep putting off that trip you always wanted to take.
Rating: Summary: Author's Father Writes Review: Tears welled up in my eyes when I saw my son's name on the cover. More tears came when I saw the cost of the book. I was so eager to begin reading this book, I accidently tore the cover. A little glue took care of the rip. Onced I started, I couldn't put the book down. My fingers were stuck to the glue. I'm proud of my son and his family for making this journey. I hope this book will encourage parents to enrich the lives of their children in ways other than video games.
Rating: Summary: A Toast to a First Review: This was a wonderfully literate story by a first-time author and a CPA to boot! I enjoyed reading about the trials and tribulations along with the discoveries. Read this just because you have a family, too.
Rating: Summary: Fun family read Review: What a great experience to share in! This family takes you through their highs and lows through the pages of this entertaining book. I was tickled as they trompted through jungles and across deserts -- with each of them having a perspective. Super book!
