Review: I own as many books as I could find about this diverse and endangered island, and truly love this book - it's my favorite guide book on Madagascar. Bradt writes from experience and really brings you into the island. If you are thinking of travelling to Madagascar, or just want to learn more, you must get this book. Apparently, it's difficult to get, judging by the 4-6 week time-frame Amazon gives, but it would be well worth the wait. The pictures are as beautiful as the ones in Bradts' other book on Madagascar Wildlife - a must have for any true nature lover.
